What is a Blue Badge Guide?
The Blue Badge is the most prestigious qualification for professional tourist guides in the UK, originally established not long after World War II. Earning the badge isn’t easy, and requires completing an intensive two-year training programme with 11 challenging exams along the way that test both knowledge and guiding skills.
I qualified as a Blue Badge guide in 2024 and as such I can conduct tours inside some of England’s most important landmarks. These include religious sites such as Westminster Abbey and St Paul’s Cathedral, as well as the Tower of London, Windsor Castle, Kensington Palace and Hampton Court Palace. Further afield I can guide at Stonehenge, Bath, Canterbury and Oxford.

London Tourist Guiding with Will Hide
Let me know what you’d like to see in London and I can make it happen.
Whether it’s a morning spent inside Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral or the Tower of London, exploring Camden Market and the quaint streets of Hampstead or Greenwich, or taking your teens on a Taylor Swift trail, I can make it happen.
And if you want to get out of town and see the sites of Bath, Oxford, Canterbury or Stone Henge, just let me know.
