Will Hide is a Yorkshireman, now living in London, who has always has a strong case of wanderlust and a desire to explore. After attending St Andrews’ University in Scotland he backpacked round the world in the early 90’s before spending six months in the corporate finance department of a City bank. Unimpressed, he left and joined a large independent-travel company in Kensington. After five years there he worked for a small PR firm before moving back to another travel company in North London for two years.

Now he writes full time on many aspects of travel and food for numerous national UK papers (including the Times, the Guardian, the Observer, the Evening Standard and the Daily Express) as well as magazines and several Australian papers (including the Sydney Morning Herald and the Melbourne Age). Additionally, he has contributed to BBC TV's Fast Track programme.
